The Name section is common to all display editors. It sits at the top of the editor panel and controls the permanent name and URL by which the display is known. The examples here are illustrated using the Chart editor.

When you are creating a brand new display, it is unnnamed, and you are prompted to provide a unique name.

When you have supplied a name, you can then Save the display.

Once saved, your display has a permanent link that you can use and distribute as you see fit.

In addition, the Name section lets you:

Save as...Make a copy of your display under a new name
DeleteDelete the display entirely
Send this...Pick a dZBoard and Send the display to it
Visit dZBoardSee the dZBoard after sending the display there
