In calculations, NA values in the inputs yield NAs as outputs by default. Optionally, you can fill the inputs with their neighboring values before they are evaluated. In particular:

  • Fill forward
  • Fill backward
  • Fill forward, then backward
  • Fill backward, then forward
  • For example:
