dataZoa subscriptions at the Commercial/Institutional Publishing level have the privilege of creating Related Accounts, so that multiple persons can handle organizational tasks separately, but with shared visibility and editing privileges.

Key Concepts
  • The Related Account Leader is the dataZoa account associated with the subscription itself.
  • A Related Account is any dataZoa account created by the Related Account Leader.
  • The Related Account Group is all dataZoa accounts associated with the subscription itself.

In the housekeeping toolbar, "pick Profile/Preferences under the 'gear' menu".

This brings you to a multi-tab page with various account attributes:

  • To create a Related Account, login as the Related Account Leader, use the Gear button and choose the Create Related Account entry.
  • This brings up the usual account creation panel, but with extra settings that specify group membership.
  • You can inspect Related Account Groups from the Stats panel of your account profile, by clicking the account info link.
